ROOTSandBLUES Terms and Conditions
ROOTSandBLUES neither endorses nor provides technical support for third-party ticket sales. We strongly recommend that customers avoid third-party sales, and purchase tickets directly from the ROOTSandBLUES ticket provider. The box office has a contractual obligation only to the original ticket purchaser. ROOTSandBLUES is not obligated to honor any agreements made by third parties regarding tickets for our shows. All policies are subject to change without notice.
Please read and understand the following terms and conditions before purchasing your ROOTSandBLUES Festival tickets and Camping tickets as they affect your future legal rights:
• NO REFUNDS or EXCHANGES. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to check their ticket for the correct performance, day of the week and time. All performances are subject to restrictions imposed by governmental and public health authorities and to cancellation or modification at the discretion of the ROOTSandBLUES should extenuating circumstances arise.
• All sales are final, including drink tickets and merchandise. Tickets obtained from unauthorized sources may be invalid, lost, stolen or counterfeit and may not be honoured. ROOTSandBLUES reserves the right to refuse entry on re-sold tickets without a refund.
• Artist and performance times are subject to change without notice.
• Festival Tickets and Camping Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Festival Tickets and Camping Tickets are transferable. To transfer your tickets, go to the confirmation email you received after your purchase and click "VIEW your TICKETS". Then, scroll to the bottom, update the information and the tickets will be emailed to the recipient. Save and except for the transfer policy the ROOTSandBLUES make no warranty, representation, or guarantee respecting any ticket sale, whether express or implied.
• Children 12 years and under are admitted free (no ticket required) with an adult ticket holder. Proof of age may be requested at the gate before entry. No refunds will be offered for tickets that were purchased in error.
• Seniors 65+ and Youth (ages 13-24) ticket holders may be asked to provide a valid piece of government and/or school ID to prove their age.
• Transaction fees and taxes are applied to festival tickets and camping tickets.
• Each ticket has a unique QR or barcode which can only be scanned once for admission. Once scanned the ticket becomes invalid. Duplicate tickets with the same barcode will not be accepted for admission. Once a ticket is scanned, the ticketholder will receive a wristband at the gate. Wristbands must be worn at all times and shown for entry into the ROOTSandBLUES Festival site and campgrounds. Wristbands that are removed or tampered with are considered invalid and entry will not be permitted.
• Festival Tickets and Camping Tickets can be reissued if lost, stolen, damaged or if you have reason to believe there is a duplicate. The ticket holder must present a valid government ID at the box office to have tickets reissued. *Tickets will not be reissued once a ticket has been scanned.
• Ticket holders consent to reasonable security checks to ensure compliance with laws, facility rules and regulations. If you elect not to consent to such searches, you may be denied entry to the event without a refund or other compensation. Ticket holders by consenting to a search of their person and property waive any claims against the ROOTSandBLUES, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, contractors, agents or representatives that may arise from such a search. You agree that the event for which you purchase or use tickets is a public event, that your appearance and actions inside and outside the venue where the event occurs are public in nature, and that you have no expectation of privacy with regard to your actions or conduct at the event.
• Alcoholic beverages, illegal substances, glass, fireworks and other explosives, amplified music, professional photography and recording devices, print materials for distribution, pets (service dogs allowed), laser pointers, firearms/weapons, sky lanterns, drones, or any other prohibited item as deemed inappropriate by the ROOTSandBLUES staff and security. Any violation of these conditions may result in refusal of admission or ejection without a refund.
• By attending the event, you consent to have medical treatment and/or transport that may be deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident and/or illness during the event. You release the ROOTSandBLUES and all persons participating in any such medical treatment of all legal and financial liability for any such actions.
• You acknowledge that individuals working for and at the ROOTSandBLUES, artists, venue, sponsors and stakeholders are using video and photographic cameras at the event. Your image may be captured without your consent or payment of compensation to you, and you release the ROOTSandBLUES from any legal liability for such filming, photographing or dissemination. You understand and accept that other than for personal use, images, film or video you obtain at the event may not be used without the prior written permission of the ROOTSandBLUES.
• You assume full responsibility and liability for your participation in and attendance at ROOTSandBLUES, including any risks and dangers incidental to the event such as loss or damage to property, personal injury or death. By attending, you forever indemnify, release, discharge and hold the ROOTSandBLUES, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, contractors, agents or representatives harmless from any claim arising from such risk, even if arising from the negligence of the ROOTSandBLUES, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, contractors, agents or representatives, or by third parties.
• To the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws, none of the ROOTSandBLUES, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, contractors, agents or representatives are or will be responsible or liable to you or any third party for, and you expressly waive all rights to seek, any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive or other damages under any theory of liability, arising out of or relating in any way to your participation in and attendance at ROOTSandBLUES (even if ROOTSandBLUES have been advised of the possibility of such loss or damages, or such loss or damages were reasonably foreseeable).
• You agree that any claim made against ROOTSandBLUES will be on an individual basis. You understand and agree that waiving the right to participate as a class representative or class member in a class action suit.
• The collection of personal information is not practiced by the ROOTSandBLUES unless knowingly provided through making a financial contribution/donation, ordering tickets, contest promotions, subscribed newsletters, online bulletin boards, chat areas, or other interactive, online activities. Personal information may include your name, address, phone number, credit card numbers and expiry dates, age and e-mail address.
Salmon Arm Folk Music Society follows the evolving guidelines and recommendations of the BC Provincial Health Authority and Interior Health Authority.
ROOTSandBLUES has the right to refuse admission to, or eject, any person who behaves in a disorderly manner, uses vulgar or abusive language, or fails to follow the event's rules. All ticket sales are final, and no refunds or exchanges will be granted.
While every effort is made to present the program as advertised, ROOTSandBLUES reserves the right to vary the artists and/or program without notice. No refunds will be given due to changes in programming. We will not be liable for travel or any other expenses that you or anyone else incurs in connection with an event alteration.

Camping across from the ROOTSandBLUES Festival

Campground Terms & Conditions
Campsites are assigned by ROOTSandBLUES, and your campground and site numbers will be sent to you via email prior to the festival.

Transferable Tickets
Camping tickets are transferable. To transfer your tickets, click "VIEW your TICKETS" in your confirmation email, update the recipient’s information, and the tickets will be emailed to them. NO REFUNDS.

Campsites Sizes
• 20’ X 20’: maximum of 6 people
• 20’ X 40’: maximum of 8 people
• 20’ X 60’: maximum of 8 people
Exceptions may be made for families with more than two children. For inquiries, please call our office. Children must be supervised at all times.

Accessible Camping
If you require an accessible site, please indicate this on the camping reservation..

Camping Restrictions:
• NO REFUNDS/NO PETS/NO FIRES/NO PROPANE FIRE PITS/
• PROPANE BBQ ON TABLES ONLY

If you are camping with a service animal, please notify our office in advance.

Facilities
• No hookups for electrical, sewer or water.
• Washstands and portable toilets will be available in each campground.
• Waste, compost and recycling bins will also be provided.

Check-In Procedure & Times
• Thursday, July 23rd: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Friday, July 24th: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Upon arrival, check in at the tent in your assigned campground to receive your camping wristband and parking pass.

Note: No check-ins after 8:00 PM.

Check-Out Time
• Monday July 27th: By 11:00 AM.

Festival Tickets
Get your festival wristbands at the West Gate Entrance, located on 5th Street across from the campgrounds.
Hours:
• Thursday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Friday – Sunday: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM

If you need to purchase tickets, please visit the Main Gate at 490 5th Avenue SW.

Parking Information
• A Campground Parking Pass will be issued at check-in. Display this pass on your dashboard or rearview mirror.
• No additional parking is available within the campgrounds.
• Additional Parking: Available in the East Parking lot. Inquire at the check-in tent for an East Parking pass.
• All vehicles must display a parking pass and adhere to parking rules and signs.
• Keep campground driving lanes clear for emergency vehicle access. Vehicles parked in driving lanes may be towed at the owner’s expense.

Quiet Hours
• 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM. Please respect your neighbours to ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone. ROOTSandBLUES reserves the right to limit noise during quiet hours.

On-Site Security
• Security will be on-site throughout the night. If you witness inappropriate behaviour, report it to security immediately. The security phone number is posted at the check-in tent.

Generator Use
• Generators are allowed between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM. The owner must be present during operation.

Liability
ROOTSandBLUES assumes no responsibility for lost, damaged or stolen property. Secure your valuables at all times.
• Wildlife Precautions: Store food and drinks in your vehicle overnight as wildlife may be present.
• Children: Do not leave children unattended. If a child is lost, report to security immediately.

Campground Safety
• Flashlight: Bring a flashlight for nighttime activities and movement around the campsite
• First Aid Station is located on the Festival site.

Hours of Operation:
• Friday: 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Saturday/Sunday: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
• Emergency Procedures: Fire extinguishers are available at every campground entrance and exit.

Cleanliness
• Keep your area and the campsite clean. Dispose of trash and cigarette butts properly.
• Please leave your campsite is clean upon departure.

Tickit's services are limited to generating and delivering tickets and forwarding your payment to the organizer. Tickit’s fees for this service are non-refundable.

All communications or disputes regarding ticket order refunds, chargebacks, changes, disruptions and cancellation are between you and the organizer. Tickit will be not be liable or responsible in any way for refunds or chargebacks in connection with the organizer's events.
