Making his return to Salmon Arm after being the talk of the 2025 ROOTSandBLUES Festival, Australia’s Kim Churchill’s laidback folk style continues to strike a chord across the globe. Kim’s decade long industry experience spreads far and wide. Raised in the coastal town of Merimbula, Australia, the songwriter has previously been crowned Australia’s National Youth Folk Artist of the Year and nominated for the National Live Music Awards Roots Act of the Year.
In 2023, Kim returned with his seventh studio album Dawn Sounds, highly praised by industry and fans alike. Hitting home runs with singles “Fighter”, “Please Come Home (Feat. Steph Strings) and “Go Try Fall”, his latest single ‘Reflecting’ featuring Canadian born, LA based folk singer Emily Brimlow is part of a new album, ‘It’s Lovely To Have You Here’ which will be released on October 11th alongside a 2 month European headline tour.
